EXHIBITION: SUGARCOATED
Sugarcoated, is a collection of mixed material paintings that deal into the culture of dangerous dieting and the glamorized obsession of it being built subconsciously into our culture over time. It explores the relationship that dieting culture that was established in the midcentury to today’s world and its connection to the advertising industry’s support in the creation of it. The work is cultivated by the research and influences by pop art, repetitive instances in cultural history, and how advertising has influenced the way dieting culture is being portrayed. Bringing attention to the different aspects of dieting that has been subconsciously implanted in one’s mind and culture, Sugarcoated challenges the audience to confront this nature and in turn begin to identify how they have been a part of it.

FINDLAY MARKET GRAPHIC DESIGN COOP
As the Graphic Design Coop for Findlay Market, I worked closely with the Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator in designing and executing all marketing strategies and initiatives for the market. This includes designing various collateral for market programs and special events. With the support of the coordinator, I took the responsibility of the rebranding of National Farmers Market Week and designed all the campaign and promotional materials for the event.

EXHIBITION: PECULIAR RECOLLECTIONS
This digital show focuses on how individuals work through growth distinctively and how the many ways growth can be portrayed, displayed, and interpreted. Each artist's work involved growth in relation to conceptual and physical elements throughout their duration. The emphasis is on that everyone encounters growth on their own terms but all that self reflection is necessary in order to experience change.

EXHIBITION: EMOTIONS, AN ABSTRACTION
A selection of works of the first exercise of the 2D Special Studio course taught by visiting artist Edward-Victor Sanchez. This curated exhibition that artists selected 3 emotions, which they investigated, and then "materialized" through the creation of 12 non-objective abstraction drawings. Each group of drawings is accompanied by a poem written by the students and inspired on the process, the emotions selected, or how they felt while creating the body of works.

STUDIO 614 MARKETING & DESIGN COOP
Studio 614 and Makers Social were the two sister companies I worked with as the Marketing and Design Coop. Responsibilities include designing new content for posting on current and new social media channels while also helping with campaigns of special announcements and new products. In response to Covid-19 for the holidays, I collaborated in the creation of Makers Social at Home, a DIY craft carryout and shipping kit with a menu of over a dozen kits for kids to adults.

GLASS AXIS STUDIO ASSISTANT
With Glass Axis as a studio assistant, I helped maintain the multiple studio spaces by organizing supplies & setting up for daily classes with instructors. while helping with administrative duties to run the studio. In addition with my day to day responsibilities, I also worked closely with the marketing director in making social media posts, newsletters, and the 2020 season postcard bundle. During Glassquerade, their annual fundraiser, aided the fundraising coordinator before, during, and after the event.
